Information Service

Information Provided

The airport provides such services as the process of emplaning, scheduled flights, air carriers and other services available in the Terminal Building.

Information Desks

  • Domestic Information Desk is located at Area C in the Departure Hall on the second floor of Terminal 1, opposite to Gate 3.
  • International Information Desk is located in the central area of the Departure Hall on the second floor of Terminal 2, opposite to Gate 5.
  • Information Desk for Shandong Airlines is located at Area A in the Departure Hall on the second floor of Terminal 1, opposite to Gate 1.
  • Information Desk for China Eastern Airlines is located in the central area of the Departure Hall on the second floor of Terminal 2, opposite to Gate 4.

Delayed and Damaged Baggage

If your checked baggage is delayed, damaged or lost, please contact the airlines or Airport Baggage Inquiry Office.

Domestic Baggage Inquiry

Located in the Domestic Arrival Hall on the first floor of Terminal 1 and is responsible for all domestic airlines baggage inquiries, except for China Eastern Airlines and Shandong Airlines.

Located in the International Arrival Hall on the first floor of Terminal 2 and is responsible for all international airlines baggage inquiries, except for China Eastern Airlines and Shandong Airlines.

Shandong Airlines Baggage Inquiry

Located in the Domestic Arrival Hall on the first floor of Terminal 1 and is responsible for both domestic and international baggage inquiries for Shandong Airlines.

Located in the International Arrival Hall on the first floor of Terminal 2 and is responsible for both domestic and international baggage inquiries for China Eastern Airlines.

Passengers with Special Needs

Passengers with special needs are those who will be given special treatment, or those who may need assistance because of their physical and mental conditions, or those who can only take the flight under certain conditions, including VIPs, customers with illness or disabilities, unaccompanied children, pregnant travelers, blind or sight impaired passengers, and prisoners etc.

Services for passengers with special needs are provided by the carriers. Please apply for In-Flight Special Services with your carrier three (3) days before taking flight and complete the Special Services procedures two (2) hours prior to departure at the Information Desk.

Left Baggage

Entering Gate 3 on the second floor, you will see the Left Baggage counter on the right in front. You may rent electronic code cases or cargo shelves to keep your baggage in complete safety. A flight ticket and valid ID card are required for this service.

Baggage Carts

Qingdao International Airport offers baggage carts at no charge.

Instructions for using a baggage cart:

  • -There is a brake with every cart.
  • - Press down the handle to move on.
  • - Leave the handle to stop.

Baggage Packing

Baggage packing counters are close to Gate 1 and Gate 2 in the Domestic Departure Hall on the second floor of Terminal 1. Packing is also available at China Eastern Airlines Check-in Counter near Gate 4 and International Check-In Counter near Gate 5 in International Departure Hall on the second floor of Terminal 2.

Public Phone

Visible Multimedia Telephone Sets are located at some entrances of the Terminal and near boarding gates in the Departure Lounge. Each telephone set has a special panel for you to receive or send emails and obtain information.

IC Card Telephone Sets are available everywhere in the Terminal. Near some of the IC Card Telephone Sets are IC Card Counters or vending machines.

You can also buy IC card in the Terminal.

Business Center

The Business Center is located near the Security Checkpoint in the Domestic Departure Hall on the second floor and offers the following services: typing, copying, sending and receiving fax and E-mails etc.

Battery Charger

Battery chargers are available near every boarding gate and the entrances of the Departure Lounge. There are free-of-charge charging lines for more than 20 mobile models including SAMSUNG, MOTOROLA, NOKIA and etc. Passengers can also use multi-purpose battery chargers for all kinds of cell phones and most Little Smarts, digital cameras, video cameras, laptops, and walkie-talkies.
